Meet the Founders

Meet the Founders

Our friendship started when Elissa came to one of Em’s yoga classes. We soon went on our first ‘date’ - a cold water dip! We were hooked from that moment on.

The feeling we get in the water is so similar to the calm and presence we find on our yoga mats. We wanted to create a welcoming space to encourage more women to feel that true sense of calm and belonging regularly.

At Dawn was born from our love of the sea, yoga, breathwork, and community, and we’re so excited to share it with you.

Our Ethos

At Dawn is built on it’s core value of connection. We are committed to offering events, retreats, and products that provide opportunities for true meaningful connection: to nature, to each other, and with ourselves.

We care about people and the planet above all else, which is why we partner with sustainably-conscious, local, ethical businesses for our events and retreats.

Our core values are: community, connection, and nature - and we bring these through in all our work as they are so close to our hearts, as individuals and as a business.

Em Huckstep

Em is a Women’s Coach and Authentic Business Coach. She has a long background in helping business owners build impactful, profitable businesses. She loves guiding and mentoring women to create businesses they love.

“Most weekends I can be found either reading at my beach hut, with my dog Vinny and husband, Ian, or hiking the Jurassic Coast. Being next to the sea is literally my favourite activity ever - whether it’s hiking the coastal path or swimming at Hengistbury Head. As long as I can smell the salt in the air I’m happy!”

Elissa Davies

Elissa is a Life Coach for Women, Breathwork Teacher, and Special Mission Pilot. She specialises in helping women weave well-being into the way they work - so they can build sustainable healthy businesses that allow them to live out their values, and feel balanced.

She is a trained Breathwork Teacher, and EFT practitioner. She has been coaching women for the last few years. As a pilot since the age of 17, Elissa understands the complexities of working in often high-stress environments. Her background has given her a sea of empathy and understanding towards what it means to find true work-life balance.

“My favourite way to spend my free time is being outdoors - I am an adventurer through and through. So whether it’s getting in the sea, hiking local trails, or rock climbing along the Jurassic Coast with my boyfriend, Ed - you’re guaranteed to find me somewhere in nature!”.
